Best Places See In Hoi An

Hoi An is one of the most favourite destination of tourist when travelling to Vietnam. Coming to Hoi An, tourist can visit many beautiful attractions. Besides Eco Tour in Hoi An, the list below will be useful for you to find a good place to visit.

Ong pagoda

Ong pagoda or Quan Cong Mieu is located at No.24, Tran Phu Street. This pagoda was built by Minh Huong people in Hoi An in the middle of 17th century to delicate the Tam Quoc general – Quan Van Truong in order to show their admiration to him.

Cau Pagoda

Known as Japanese bridge or Lai Vien Kieu, Cau Pagoda was built by the Japanese in the early 17th century and was reserved in 1653, 1763, 1817, 1865, 1915, and 1917. The bridge has a unique roof, and its shape likes a rainbow. The bridge was decorated with many details of the Vietnamese, the Chinese, the Japanese and the Western as well.

Phuc Kien headquarters

Known as a special place of the Chinese-Vietnamese people to gather and delicate Thien Hau Thanh Mau, after many renovations, Phuc Kien Headquarters is a beautiful and peaceful place for any tourist should visit.

Trieu Chau headquarters

The place was built in 1845 by the Chinese-Vietnamese people originated from Trieu Chau, Chinese to delicate Phuc Ba general – Ma Vien. Visiting this place, you will have a chance to enjoy its beauty and the unique architecture.

The history and culture museum

Built in 1989, the museum shows about 212 samples in poverty, paper, wood material reflecting the periods of Hoi A development from 2nd century to 15th century and 19th century as well. The museum also provides information of people in Sa Huynh Culture in Hoi An – the very first owner of Hoi An who had a business relationship with the Indian, the Chinese, and ASEAN countries as well.

Quan Thang Ancient House (No 77, Tran Phu Street)

This is one of the most beautiful houses in Hoi An which was the Chinese owner built in the middle of the 17th century. The house is a typical sample of the ancient houses in Hoi An. All furniture and equipment in the house were the evidence for the poverty and richness of Hoi An in the 17th century.

Tran Temple (No 21 – Le Loi)

Built in the beginning of the 19th century, this place is a typical sample for the temple of Hoi An. It has a quite large scale when being located inside the town.

Hoi An Market

This attraction is very popular with tourist to visit and do shopping. Almost goods are sold in Hoi An from food to handcrafted products. Besides to visiting, a tourist could experience in the daily life of the local there to get more understanding of the Hoian people.
