Dong Giang Tea hill

Speaking of trips to Central Vietnam, people think of Da Nang city with modern color, or Quang Nam with Hoi An in the calm and traditional color. However, it is less known that in the middle of the dry land of the Central region, there is also a tranquil Dong Giang, with tea fields running among the pristine forests. Let’s explore this tea hillside with Tours in Vietnam!

Dong Giang Tea hill

Compared to the North, the paths for traveler are quiet and not too famous. The weather in the central region is more sultry and there are also no winding and difficult but so beautiful roads as in the North. However, behind the rugged red soil roads, there is a green tea hill in the peaceful Dong Giang land.

Unlike Moc Chau or Cau Dat, tea hills in Dong Giang are not well known to many tourists. But for those who like to explore the peaceful suburbs, the place is no stranger. No doubt, in Quang Nam full of sunshine and breezy winds, there is a green tea hill in the middle of this immense primitive forest, dispelling all the harsh heat. Although not stretching to the horizon like Moc Chau tea hill or Cau Dat tea hill, Dong Giang tea hill is still enough to touch the heart any traveler.

To reach Dong Giang, from Da Nang city, you have to move about 100km to the west. Tea hill belongs to Quyet Thang farm, Ba village, Dong Giang district, Quang Nam province. The road to Dong Giang is no longer noisy with the loud whistle of cars or smothered by the flow of people and dust, instead of that is the vast primitive forest with the gentle aroma of the grass weeds along the road.

Not as beautiful as the backpacking roads of the North, the central path has been cemented but there still a path of bumpy red soil. Not only that, but you also have to overcome Doc Kien slope full of difficulty. Therefore, the 100km road to Dong Giang is a new experience for those who fell in love with the backpacking tourism.
