Bitter bolete

Another speciality of Phu Quoc known by many people is bitter bolete. With favourable climate, fertile soil, bitter bolete is very developed in Phu Quoc. This is a mushroom that grows on decaying leaves and stems. Because of its natural development, the taste of bitter bolete is sweet, delicious and has its own characteristic taste. Melaleuca mushrooms are processed into many dishes, of which the most famous is bitter bolete with seafood.
