Best time to visit Phu Quoc Island

Belonging to the tropical forest climate area, Phu Quoc Island has two typical seasons: the rainy season from November to April and dried season from May to October with the average temperature about 28 Census. Therefore you can visit Phu Quoc Island at any time of the year but the best time to visit the island is from October to March or until the end of May. It’s cool, nice weather and quiet sea at this period.

How to get Phu Quoc Island

To get Phu Quoc Island, you can travel by plane or bus and canoe.

+ By plane: there are some direct flights from Hanoi to Phu Quoc Island or you need to depart at Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh city) before flying to Phu Quoc.

+ By bus and can: you transfer to Ha Tien or Rach Gia belong to Kien Giang province which you may come if joining Vietnam Mekong River Tour, to take a canoe to the island.

Most  popular attractions in Phu Quoc Island

+ Ham Linh fishing village: with the ancient beauty of nature and background, the village is an ideal place to enjoy the sunset or sunrise. There are many types of delicious seafood. The sea water there also is very tranquil and clean which you can see through to the sand and look for some small fishes swimming around.

+ Tranh Spring Tourism Area: The water here is also very clean, blue and tranquil like a mirror among lots of green trees. However, if you travel in the dried season, you may miss the chance to see it. Don’t forget to enjoy “qua bo quan”, a kind of sweet local fruit.
