Which Season Is The Most Beautiful In Phu Quoc?

The climate of Phu Quoc

Located in the territory of Kien Giang province, Phu Quoc is also in the common climate of this land. The rainy season in Phu Quoc lasts from April to October, while the dry season is from November to March of next year. Phu Quoc’s topography stretches about 60km from the north to the south of Kien Giang province.

Like other lands in Kien Giang, Phu Quoc does not have the direct influence of the storm, but it has heavy rainfall and strong southeast wind. In particular, the dry season is influenced by the northeast monsoon. The rainy season is influenced by the southwest wind and heavy rainfall.

Phu Quoc waters include 22 islands, large and small, with 99 hills and mountains. The highest temperature in Phu Quoc is about 35 degrees Celsius in April and May. The average temperature of the remaining months of the year is about 27, 28 degrees C. Therefore, Phu Quoc’s climate is quite pleasant and suitable for travellers on tour in Vietnam to visit.

What is the best season for Phu Quoc tourism?

Although visitors can visit Phu Quoc all year round, but because of the two distinct seasons, many tourists still wonder “which is the best season for Phu Quoc tourism?”.

– Rainy season: lasts from April to October, the rainy season in Phu Quoc has quite high humidity and different rainfall density between months. April is the time when the weather will change from dry season to rainy season, so clouds start to cover the sky, so the traveller will also not visit Phu Quoc at that time. In May, small rains appear. In June and July, more rains come, making the seawater in the East of the island muddier. In August and September, it rains a lot, so it is so difficult for tourists to enjoy sea bathe and sea game.

October is ending time of the rainy season in Phu Quoc, with less rain and a quieter sea. Therefore, coming to Phu Quoc in the month, visitors will enjoy lower prices for services, while watching the beauty of the famous streams of Phu Quoc such as Tranh stream, Da Ban stream, Da Ngon stream, etc. The beaches near the town of An Thoi such as Sao beach, Khem beach … are still very beautiful, the clear blue and the calm water.

However, the rainy season makes many roads in Phu Quoc become muddy and difficult to go, many beaches are unable to bathe. There are week-long rains in Phu Quoc, leaving tourists stranded on the island. Therefore, the rainy season in Phu Quoc is very beautiful but also accompanied with many troubles.

– Dry season: lasts from November to March next year, the dry season in Phu Quoc coincides with the Lunar New Year of the Vietnamese and the winter vacation of foreign tourists. Therefore, Phu Quoc is extremely crowded in the season, so the price of services is also higher. Phu Quoc’s weather in the dry season is very beautiful with less rain, the seawater is also clear blue and calmer, that is suitable to join in sea activities such as sailing, sea bathing.

It can be said that this is a very suitable time for travel. Tourists on Vietnam small group tour can freely explore the beautiful places on Phu Quoc Island, and can explore the pristine forest, go the roads through the forest without worrying about slippery muddy ways. However, in the dry season, many beautiful streams of Phu Quoc have less water, so it is not as beautiful as the rainy season.

Therefore, depending on the needs and preferences of each traveller, the answer about which season is the most beautiful in Phu Quoc will vary. Rainy or dry season, Phu Quoc is always beautiful and a wonderful resort of Vietnam. Wishing you a memorable trip to Ngoc Island and will discover the different beauty of Phu Quoc in the months of the year.
