The Tomb is marked by many schools of architecture such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Roman, Gothic, also bold on each small item.
Tu Duc Tomb is a complex of architectural works, including the place where King Tu Duc buried. This structure is unique and advanced, showing through the Bat Trang brick walkway from the Khiem Gate past Khiem Cung Mon, or three tiers of Thanh stone leading to the Khiem Cung Gate.
Hue Citadel is on the north side of the Perfume River on an area of 500 hectares. This is the political and administrative center of the Nguyen court and the royal residence. This area includes the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden City. In 1993, the Citadel was recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage, bringing pride to Vietnam.
The next stop is one of the most beautiful pagodas in Vietnam. Thien Mu Pagoda was built in 1601 on Ha Khe hill, on the left side of the Perfume River. Up to now, this work has kept the majestic, pure and ancient features inherent. The highlight in the Thien Mu pagoda area is Tu Nhan Tower (later renamed Phuoc Duyen Tower). King Thieu Tri allowed building this tower in 1601, 21 m high with 7 majestic floors right in front of the temple.
For the visitors who prefer romance and lightness, cruising on the Perfume River will be the best part of the trip. Perfume River becomes romantic and gentle at night. This is the time when you should descend to any boat to see life on both sides of the river. The boat cruising is slow and quiet so you will not have a sense of seasickness.
