Day 1 Ho Chi Minh Arrival
Upon your arrival in the bustling city of Vietnam, still called “Saigon” by many locals, your guide will welcome you at Tan Son Nhat Airport and then transfer you to your hotel for check –in. Your room is at disposal from 14:00 pm. Free at leisure to relax in the rest of the day.

Day 2 Ho Chi Minh City
In the morning, our local guide will pick you up at the hotel around 08:00 AM to transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels (30km to 40 km from Saigon). At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border. The network, parts of which were several levels deep, included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command center and kitchens. If be interested, you have the opportunity to descend the tunnels to understand how harshly the Vietnam guerrillas live during the war. Then drive back to the city. Have lunch at local restaurant. After that, proceed to discover the largest city in Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh city with its most prominent attractions such as Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Center Post Office and visit the ethnic Chinese district at Binh Tay Market. End tour at your hotel about 17:00 pm.

Day 3 Ho Chi Minh City – Ben Tre – Can Tho
Today we depart from Ho Chi Minh City to explore Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta (130km – 2.5 – 3-hour driving). Pick up at the Phong Nam pier. Get on boat and will cruise along the Chet Say river (a branch of the Mekong) and stop off at various local workplaces to give you a picture of how the local economy works: visit the brick kilns; coconut activated charcoal factory where coconut shell is put into high heat kiln to produce coconut charcoal; a coconut processing workshop, where you can sample fresh coconut and see how every single part of this versatile nut is turned into food and other products. Then the boat will cruise through the small canal, discover the local life. The boat will then stop at a quiet village where you can have a short walk to experience real Delta village life, visit a mat weaving house, where straw mats are woven using a hand loom – you can even have a go at weaving yourself before boarding your Pelosi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) or biking into the village where you can see farm, rice field and vegetable plan before stopping at a local house for a delicious and filling lunch, featuring such local specialties as elephant-ear fish and river shrimp, washed down with some cold drinks or beers. It’s time to board a sampan for a relaxing trip along narrow canals. After that, heading to Can Tho for check in the hotel and feel free to enjoy evening

Day 4 Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City
At around 06:00 AM, your sampan will slowly start cruising to approach Cai Rang Floating Market, actually the largest in the whole Mekong delta. We will pass by countless sampan boats carrying sand, rice, fruits and vegetables, fish, flowers… showing an intense activity on the river. Your cruise journey will end at around 10:00 AM at Ninh Kieu pier after a visit at Can Tho local market. Upon disembarkation, transfer to your hotel to relax before going back Ho Chi Minh City.
